Our chapter is always looking for volunteers to help us. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact any board member and let us know your area of interest.

    Volunteer Opportunities

    • Mentor a college student training for a human resources career. Minimum time commitment is one meeting (coffee break?) with your mentee per month.
    • Assist the Hospitality Director with managing the registration table at a meeting. This can be a one-time volunteer commitment or ongoing.
    • Assist with communication regarding diversity groups and events. This can be a one-time effort or an on-going volunteer effort.
    • Selling 50/50 raffle tickets to benefit the SHRM Foundation at a chapter meeting. This can be just a one-time volunteer commitment.
    • Serve as a greeter at a chapter meetings.
    • Assist with new-member orientation.
    • Assist VP of Membership with contacting members regarding specific updates or invitations.
