CARES Act:
Employee Retention Tax Credit
with
Keith Wilbur
National Sales Leader, Synergi Partners
Summary:
Join us on Aug 17th to learn about the CARES Act Employee Retention Credit (ERC). This interactive session will educate you on how businesses may be eligible for the ERC. The ERC is a refundable payroll tax credit intended to aid employers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The South Puget Sound SHRM is partnering with Synergi, who processes a variety of state and federal tax incentives and was one of the first firms in the country to consult with employers on the ERC. Currently, Synergi works with clients of every size and in almost every industry and prides itself on accountability, experience, and innovation. Synergi’s leadership actively works with outside counsel to develop its processes and procedures. In addition to its adaptive process refinement, Synergi offers peace of mind to its clients by providing audit support and standing behind each and every project they deliver.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- Articulate the key components of the ERC
- Build skills to identify the eligibility criteria for the ERC
- Understand the difference between the 2020 and 2021 legislation
Log in at 7:45 for networking conversation!
This program is pending for 1.0 PDCs toward SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification and 1.0 Business Credit through HRCI.
