    Please join us for an interactive Social Media presentation with guest presenter
     Dr. Terryl Ross

    Program Overview:  This program offering is titled--

    "The Changing Face of America: Rise of Social Networks"

    This interactive presentation will address the rise of social networking, today. Specifically, we will discuss how social networking is affecting our lives, organizations, and communities. We will examine how to improve our social networking skills and the role that social networking can play in helping our organizations to accomplish our missions.

    About the Speaker: 

    Dr. Terryl Ross has over 20 years of experience related to diversity and inclusion. He specializes in exploring the intersection of social justice, trend analysis, and emerging technology.

    He is currently the Director of MOSAIC Nation, a not-for-profit to examine social justice in America. Over the next year, he will tour all 50 states and the District of America to explore how Americans are dealing with changing demographics and trends.

    He completed his Ph.D. in Educational Communications and Technology at the University of Washington, his MA from Syracuse University in Public Relations and his BA from Eastern Washington in Government. 

    Most people know Terryl from his work related to diversity and social justice.  In addition to that, he has an extensive career related to technology and new media.

    We hope that you and your guests will join us once again for another wonderful program offering on Thursday, August 16th, 2012 from 7:30 - 9:15am.  Our guest speakers have some great information to share with our members and guests and we appreciate their willingness to present to our chapter. We hope you share our enthusiasm and will be there to welcome them to our chapter. 

    Information on Registration:

    Please be sure to register on or before the close of business on Monday, August 13th (4:00pm) to be eligible for the early bird discount ($5.00) and to assist us in ensuring that we have an adequate number of hand-outs as well as enough space and food for all our guests. On-line registration will close on Monday, April 13th at 4:00 PM. 

    Late registrations must register at the meeting and pay the late fee at the door.  As a reminder, if you need to cancel, please cancel your registration via email no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, August 13th to avoid excess charges for no-shows.
