About The Speaker:
Jackie Marks is an attorney with Vigilant, a member association that provides legal and safety support as well as offers workers’ compensation claims management and training to its members. She is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington and has practiced law for almost 14 years. She currently focuses on employment and labor law and assists her members on a variety of topics. With her unflappable style and cool wit, she is more than comfortable at the bargaining table. Vigilant members relying on her counsel are always impressed with her tenacity, quick-thinking, and ability to connect. Before joining Vigilant Jackie worked in Oregon assisting school districts and community colleges negotiate collective bargaining agreements, administer those agreements, and answering a full range of employment and labor law questions. Jackie earned her B.A. degree from the University of Washington and her J.D degree from the University of Oregon.
