Work-Life Balance is a Myth:
Own Your Twenty-Four and Enjoy Life
with
Lacey Cozens and Randy Boek
Summary:
Living the life you want requires perspective, skill, and tools to make it all fit together in a way that maintains sanity and drives progress. Work and career matter and should be positive contributors. Life gives us twenty-four hours each day and finding the right ratio of time and mental energy to fit the demands is a moving target.
The Pandemic accelerated a transformation in how and where people work and changed the power dynamic between employer and employee. More never seems to be enough, and exhaustion is all too common. Culture is a decision, and healthy or not it is led by example.
This interactive session is co-led by a millennial mom wine industry executive and a boomer dad and grandfather who leads the hand-off to the next generation of executives. Participants will get a lifetime and a half of tips on living your best life, regardless of the realities over which you have no control.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Regain time and mental energy by reframing “obligations”
- Network deliberately and strategically to maximize value
- Inspire others to make changes that enhance both personal and professional engagement
Doors open at 7:30 for breakfast and networking conversations!
