      About the Speaker:

Jason Barrett is the lead policy analyst for Paid Family Medical Leave in Washington State. Having been in this role for almost the entire lifetime of the PFML program, he has been integral to the development of regulations and policies around all aspects of PFML. He is a veteran of the policy world in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Jason is a strong advocate for Paid Family and Medical Leave because he believes workers should not have to choose between a paycheck and providing necessary care for themselves or loved ones.
