    Kevin B. Dull

In this session we will delve into the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI), exploring its definition, the reasons behind the tumultuous discussions surrounding it, and its potential impact on HR practices. We'll address the parallels between the rise of AI and the introduction of electricity, emphasizing the transformative nature of AI that has the potential to become as ubiquitous as electricity in our daily lives.

The journey begins with an exploration of the fundamental question, "What is AI?" We will demystify the technology, providing clarity on its core concepts and dispelling common misconceptions. Chat GPT, our language model companion, will be introduced to unravel the reasons behind the tumultuous discourse surrounding AI and how it's reshaping the landscape of HR.

Moving beyond the theoretical, we'll navigate the practical applications of AI, specifically focusing on its integration into business and, more crucially, its introduction into HR practices.
