    On July 9, SHRM President and CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, announced that SHRM would be going from DEIAB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging) to ID (Inclusion & Diversity).  Since that time, the Washington SHRM Board had an initial discussion on the SHRM ID decision that ended up with mixed reactions.  Recently, our SPS SHRM Board had an initial SHRM ID discussion that also ended up with mixed reactions.

    To this end, we would like to use entire topic as a “teachable moment” opportunity to have a DEI dialogue open to all in the HR community.
