Dear SHRM Members and Guests:
Please join us for an exciting presentation with
Barbara Dean of GilDean Group, Inc
Program Overview: This program offering is titled
"Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks: Standards for Success"
Your organization decides to launch a Diversity & Inclusion initiative. How do you determine your strategy? Where will you turn to identify high-quality and really worthwhile approaches? How will you measure your efforts?
Not easy questions to answer because no public industry standards on D&I have existed. Now this void has been filled! The Global Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarks: Standards for Organizations Around the World (GDIB) is now available, without cost, for organizations to use to determine strategy and measure progress in managing diversity and fostering inclusion. Co-developed by well-regarded D&I authors and consultants with a panel of 80 experts worldwide, the downloadable tool serves as a roadmap for change and innovation for organizations in all sectors. This program provides an overview of the GDIB tool, its 13 categories of D&I work with five levels of benchmarks. Attendees will gain greater capacity to explain why Diversity & Inclusion are critical to the success of the organization, as well as a tool they can apply immediately.
Learning Objective:
During this session you will:
- Have the opportunity to briefly assess your organization’s level on Diversity & Inclusion
- Explore the Benchmarks tool as standards to use in your organization.
- Increase your understanding of what it takes to be a “best practice” organization on Diversity & Inclusion.
