Although U.S. companies spend upwards of $100 billion annually on recognition and
incentives, 65% of employees say they don’t feel valued for their contributions. Trends
show companies scaling back on formal awards and focusing more on fostering a culture
of appreciation at the team level – where it matters most! This session will expand the way you think about employee recognition and inspire you to practice more meaningful appreciation at work.
We’ll begin with a short presentation to:
- Build a business case to elevate recognition as more than just a “nice thing to do” to one that increases engagement and retention;
- Introduce the four-dimensional model that challenges the way many organizations practice employee recognition; and
- Practice ThankologyTM, the art of noticing “out loud.”
We’ll wrap up with a discussion to share low cost tools and ideas to build stronger
cultures of appreciation and engagement. Join us and #getyourthankon!
