    Tools for Inclusive Leadership

    with

    Stefani Coverson, SHRM-SCP/SPHR

    From:

    Jamii Pae Consulting

    Summary:

Two years into the Covid-19 pandemic, incidents of domestic terrorism, and the continued fight for social justice, we are living through on-going, continuous trauma. As a result, depression, anxiety, and fears of the unknown continue to rise. This is particularly true for BIPOC employees and employees from other historically marginalized groups. What is happening outside of the workplace is also impacting us inside the workplace. In this session, we will discuss actionable inclusive leadership strategies to create a trauma informed approach in our daily work and to guide leaders in supporting diverse teams.

      Learning Objectives

      Participants will be able to:

      • Understand how trauma affects the brain
      • Increase communication to combat pandemic brain

      • Mitigate uncertainty by building consistency

      • Balance needs as we all continue to nagivate the impacts of this continuing pandemic
