As a thank you for being a South Puget Sound SHRM Member, we are hosting this exclusive event and invite you to join us for candle making, networking, dinner, drinks, and a raffle! 

Annual Raffle

The SHRM Foundation is a 501c3 that opens employment opportunities to historically marginalized groups. Their mission is mobilize and equip HR to lead positive social change so that all talent and workplaces can prosper and thrive.

We're committed to hosting an inclusive event that benefits the SHRM Foundation, and this year, we're shaking things up! Our goal is for every single attendee to contribute to the cause by making a donation. No amount is too small—every dollar counts!

Here's how it works:

• For every donation regardless of size, the donor receives a Golden Ticket.
• There's a limit of one Golden Ticket per person.
• The raffle will take place at the end of the event, with Golden Tickets being drawn until all the baskets are gone.
• If your name is drawn you get to pick from the remaining baskets!

This system ensures that everyone, regardless of financial means, can participate in the raffle. Plus, it ensures that no one wins more than one prize. 

Join us in making a difference, and help us reach our goal of raising $2,500 for the SHRM Foundation!

The Candle Bar

A local, women owned, small business in Pierce County, The Candle Bar is a beautiful venue in downtown Puyallup operated by a mother and daughter team.

With over 80 scents, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Plus, as a thank you for being our member, everyone gets to make and take home their very own candle! 

Dinner and Drinks

We will be providing dinner, and have a variety of refreshments including beer, wine, and seltzers available.
